The Inception project defines 3 isolated Alpine Linux containers: Nginx TLS reverse proxy listening on port 443, WordPress PHP-FPM listening on FastCGI port 9000, and MariaDB database on port 3306. Containers communicate exclusively through a private Docker bridge network.

The Challenge

Strict security requirements requiring manual Dockerfiles (no prebuilt DockerHub images), self-signed TLS certificates, volume persistence, and network isolation.

Created modular Alpine Linux Dockerfiles, configured Nginx TLS v1.2/1.3, setup volume mounts for data persistence, and orchestrated isolated bridge networks.
